October 1, 2005 - The My Little Pony holiday mini-film My Little pony: A Very Minty Christmas (44 min) will be released in movie theaters this weekend for a limited time, screening as a weekend matinees nationwide, beginning tomorrow October 1 through October 23, 2005. The theatrical release is part of an agreement between Hasbro Properties Group and Kidtoon Films, and the film makes its way to theaters via Screenvision digital network. Kids who attend the movie in theaters will receive a My Little Pony party hat and favor, and attend a pre-movie Pony Party.

The 44-min film, from Hasbro and Paramount Home Entertainment, will also be available on DVD nationwide from October 25. As part of its licensing deal with the Hasbro Properties Group, Genius Products has released the music CD from the A Very Minty Christmas movie. The CD includes 15 holiday songs from the My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas release. The recently formed Hasbro Properties Group is the intellectual property development unit of Hasbro.
